FurCraft Mockup

In this quirky RPG, you play the mouse Chuck in an industrial world with lessening resources. Meet friends, fight foes and try to stop the war between the four nations: Sauropods, Herbivores, Carnivores and Avians.

In battle, characters can attack, use items or use abilities in a turn-based manner. There are quick time events during attacking and defending. This way, attacks deal more damage or incoming damage is reduced.

Submission for the https://itch.io/jam/game-mockup-jam by Hairic Lilred in 2023. This is the mockup for a non-existent RPG game called "FurCraft".

The game uses a mix of 3D and 2D. Environment is in 3D, while characters are supposed to be more expressive and easier to implement in 2D.

Using 2D sprites for characters would also allow other players to insert their own characters. Creating a 2D sprite is much simpler than creating a 3D model.
